I've written for the world's biggest publications – reading, researching and interviewing experts about anything and everything to do with health and fitness. What have I learned?

There are no shortcuts.

The only way to permanently lose fat, build lean muscle and get fit, is with good old-fashioned healthy eating and exercise. Lift heavy things, feed yourself well, move with grace. Work hard and feel the rewards. It’s that simple.

My strictly no-BS approach cuts through the confusion around exercise and nutrition, giving you the tools to create a complete lifestyle change. What works for one person won’t necessarily work for you. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach with health. You’re unique, so why should your training be any different?

You deserve to feel empowered, confident and energetic every damn day, so let’s make it happen.

 I'm a Sydney-based personal trainer, yoga coach and health journalist. I'm also sick of all the self-loathing in the world. I've fallen prey to ridiculous  insecurities, endlessly comparing myself to others and generally being mean to myself. Sound familiar? But I called time on that rubbish, because life is too short not to love yourself silly. And know what? It was the best move I ever made. Now, it's your turn.
